Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin met with Dr. Ahmed Hanoun, Representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Office in Palestine.

The meeting addressed the OIC’s support for the Palestinian cause and its role on international platforms. Minister Shahin praised the organization's efforts to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and emphasized the importance of turning OIC statements into concrete and effective actions.

Shahin also stated that strengthening coordination between the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the OIC would contribute to advancing Palestine’s national priorities and enhancing its international visibility.

For his part, OIC Palestine Office Representative Dr. Ahmed Hanoun provided information about the office’s activities, noting that efforts to monitor and document violations in the occupied Palestinian territories are ongoing. He also said that work is underway to establish a media and legal observatory.

Hanoun stressed that the OIC is ready to cooperate with all its capabilities in support of the Palestinian people.
