Palestinian Foreign Ministry welcomes New York Declaration
Ramallah, July 30 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the New York Declaration regarding the peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, adopted by Saudi Arabia and France as co-chairs of the international conference, along with the heads of working groups.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its appreciation for the New York Declaration, adopted by Saudi Arabia and France as co-chairs of the international conference together with the heads of working groups, regarding a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution.
The ministry praised the commitment of countries to take time-bound, irreversible, and concrete steps towards establishing an independent, sovereign, and viable Palestinian State, and providing it with political and economic support, in accordance with relevant UN resolutions, the Madrid references — particularly the land-for-peace principle — and the Arab Peace Initiative.
