Peskov: We insistently state that we do not hit civilian targets
Moscow, July 10 (Hibya)—Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the attacks do not hit civilian targets, emphasizing that they are directed at critical infrastructure and military facilities.
Dmitry Peskov conveyed that the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that no specific civilian targets were attacked and that the incident occurred due to the fall of an air defence missile.
Peskov said, "We insistently state that we do not hit civilian targets. The attacks are directed at critical infrastructure and military facilities, which are somehow linked to the military capacity of the Kyiv regime."
Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, announced that the UN Security Council would hold a meeting on Ukraine and that Moscow would present evidence to refute Kyiv's claims of an attack on a hospital.
