Petro: CONPES signed for procurement of modern weapons
Bogota, March 28 (Hibya) - Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced that the CONPES decision for the procurement of domestically produced and modern weapons has been signed.
Colombian President Petro announced that he signed the CONPES decision to initiate the procurement of modern and appropriate weapons aimed at strengthening the country’s military power.
Petro emphasized that most of the weapons to be acquired will be produced in Colombia and that the goal is to ensure the country’s armed forces become “dignified and vibrant.”
