Pezeshkian: The ceasefire is the result of the unity of the people
Tehran, April 8 (Hibya) – President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the two-week ceasefire reached with the United States was achieved through the acceptance of Iran’s fundamental principles, describing the process as a result of the people’s resistance.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made a statement regarding the ceasefire decision and his country’s stance during the process.
Emphasizing the spiritual and social strength behind the ceasefire, Pezeshkian said: "The ceasefire achieved through the acceptance of the general principles desired by Iran is the result of the blood of our great martyred leader Khamenei and the unity of all the people."
Delivering a message of national unity, Pezeshkian stressed that they would continue with determination in all areas, stating: "From today onward, whether in diplomacy, defense, in the streets or in the field of service, we will continue to stand together."
