Lisbon, September 5 (Hibya) - The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the upgrade of the country's credit rating to A+ is an indication of international confidence.
The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the upgrade of the country's credit rating to A+.
In its statement, the ministry said that Portugal is now a stronger, more reliable and more internationally recognized country.
It was noted that the upgrade of the credit rating to A+ demonstrates, in addition to the credibility Portugal has built in recent times, the increase in international confidence in the country.
The statement noted that over the past two years Portugal has strengthened its outward-facing profile and its position on the international stage, increasing its capacity to be a more important, predictable and reliable partner.
The ministry stated that the credit rating upgrade is a confirmation of the policies being pursued.
