Maxime Prevot noted that exactly four years ago today, Russia launched a full-scale invasion against Ukraine.

Prevot stated that this winter has been particularly brutal, as temperatures dropped far below zero while Russian missiles deliberately targeted energy infrastructure.

Emphasizing that Ukraine has not bowed and that Belgium has not looked away, Prevot said:

“Belgium has committed to providing Ukraine with 1 billion euros in annual military support and continues its full engagement in delivering humanitarian aid and supporting the country’s reconstruction.

Belgium stands with Ukraine. We have been with you since day one and will continue to stand by you until peace is restored.”
