In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that its commitment to protecting children affected by conflicts remains firm.

The statement read: “We reaffirm our commitment to protecting children affected by conflicts and ensure that humanitarian aid reaches them without obstruction.”

The statement also included remarks by Minister of State for International Cooperation Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, highlighting the importance of continuing international efforts to protect children.

It further emphasized that work continues in cooperation with the United Nations and other international organizations to safeguard children’s rights and secure their future, stressing that this is “a non-negotiable humanitarian responsibility.”
