Qatar condemns Israeli attacks on Gaza
Doha, April 4 (Hibya) – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli forces' bombing of a school in Gaza and the destruction of a warehouse belonging to the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the ministry condemned in the strongest terms the bombing of Dar Al-Arqam School, which sheltered internally displaced persons, and the destruction of a warehouse belonging to the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage in the Morag area east of Rafah.
The statement described both attacks as a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the urgent need for the international community to hold Israel accountable for its repeated crimes against civilians and civilian properties, and to compel it to comply with international laws.”
It added, “The Ministry reaffirms Qatar's unwavering and consistent stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the brotherly Palestinian people, based on a two-state solution that ensures the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.”
