In the statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack in a school in Kahramanmaraş that resulted in deaths and injuries, stating: “The State of Qatar condemns and strongly denounces the armed attack that took place in a school in Kahramanmaraş province of the brotherly Republic of Türkiye, which resulted in deaths and injuries.”

The statement reiterated its stance against violence and crime: “We reaffirm our position against acts of violence and crime, regardless of their reasons or motivations.”

The statement also expressed support for Türkiye: “The State of Qatar affirms its full solidarity with the government and people of Türkiye and its full support for all measures aimed at maintaining security and stability. On behalf of the State of Qatar, we extend our condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of Türkiye, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.”
