Qatar participated in the Global Cooperation Meeting
Doha, May 20 (Hibya) - According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar participated in the Global Cooperation Meeting held in London and jointly hosted by Qatar, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. Qatar was represented at the meeting by Minister of State for International Cooperation Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.

The meeting, attended by numerous senior officials, ministers, and representatives of aid and development organizations from different countries around the world, addressed the problems within the current international cooperation system and the changes needed for the coming period.
In her speech, Al Misnad highlighted Qatar’s support for the least developed countries and emphasized the 60 million dollar contribution provided for development efforts and capacity-building projects.
