Qatar presents disability rights report in Geneva
Doha, August 13 (Hibya) - Qatar's Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad made remarks in Geneva as part of the consideration of Qatar's periodic report before the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad delivered remarks in Geneva on August 12 and 13 as part of the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities' consideration of Qatar's periodic report.
The ministry said Al-Misnad reviewed Qatar's efforts and practices concerning the rights of persons with disabilities in her remarks.
Meetings held as part of the consideration of Qatar's periodic report addressed the country's policies and practices in the field of disability rights.
