Doha, July 9 (Hibya) - Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Sani met with the United States (U.S.) Deputy Secretary of State Barbara Leaf.

During the meeting, the close strategic relations between the State of Qatar and the United States of America and ways to support and strengthen them were discussed.
Recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, progress in joint mediation efforts to end the war in Gaza, and some issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
