Radman: Mladic died as a convicted war criminal
Zagreb, August 27 (Hibya) - Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman, in a statement following the death of former Serbian general Ratko Mladic, described him as “a convicted war criminal.”
Radman said military forces under Mladic's command left a bloody trail in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in pursuit of the goal of a Greater Serbia, pointing to attacks in Kijevo, Skabrnja, Drnis and Sibenik as well as the genocide in Srebrenica.
Radman said justice had moved slowly and had not encompassed all the war crimes committed by units under Mladic's command, arguing that accountability for crimes committed during the war remained incomplete.
