Washington, June 13 (Hibya) - United States (U.S.) Secretary of State Marco Rubio voiced his support for the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team (USMNT).
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio shared his excitement about the opening match of the tournament and the atmosphere surrounding the event.
Noting that he was in attendance for the tournament's first match, Rubio said, "I was honored to join more than 70,000 fans at the first match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup held in the United States."
Rubio concluded his assessment of the historic match by saying, "An incredible and historic night for the USMNT!"
