Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty.

Referring to the diplomatic and economic dimensions of the meeting, Saidov said: "First of all, we expressed our gratitude to the Egyptian side for the warm welcome and sincere hospitality extended to our delegation. We noted with satisfaction that relations between Uzbekistan and Egypt are steadily strengthening on the basis of mutual respect, trust, and common interests."

Highlighting trade partnerships and regional stability, Saidov stated: "We discussed expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, encouraging collaboration between business communities, and increasing joint projects. We also exchanged views on current international and regional issues."

Saidov concluded his remarks by saying: "We highly appreciate Egypt's efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East. We believe that the close and trust-based cooperation established between our foreign ministries will serve to further strengthen practical dialogue in all areas."
