U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the reappearance of the American flag in Kuwait is “a symbol of freedom, unity, and independence,” adding that it carries an important message for relations between the two countries.
Emphasizing that Kuwait is an indispensable partner for regional security and stability, Rubio said, “The United States looks forward to strengthening our partnership across all areas of cooperation.”
