Saar: We will continue to strengthen the Israel-Honduras partnership
Jerusalem, August 19 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar received Honduran Defense Minister Enrique Rodriguez Burchard and Internal Security Minister Jerson Onan Velasquez Aguilera as part of their visit to Israel.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said the meeting was important for developing relations between the two countries, noting that under Honduran President Tito Asfura, “ties, cooperation and friendship” between Israel and Honduras have strengthened.
Thanking Honduran President Asfura for his friendly stance toward Israel and for his decision to designate Hamas and Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as terrorist organizations, Saar said: “This visit is another important step in expanding the partnership between Israel and Honduras.”
Saar stated that Israel will continue to strengthen its relations with Latin American countries.
