Saidov: Central Asia is the priority direction of Uzbekistan's foreign policy
Tashkent, November 26 (Hibya) - Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov stated that Central Asia is the priority direction of Uzbekistan's foreign policy.
Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Saidov expressed his pleasure in hosting the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Central Asia, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Kakha Imnadze, the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Afghanistan, and the Head of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Roza Otunbayeva, along with deputy foreign ministers.
Saidov emphasized that Central Asia is the priority direction of Uzbekistan's foreign policy, adding, "Our agenda included issues of political dialogue in Afghanistan, economic integration, environmental cooperation, transport relations, public diplomacy, and deepening partnership."
