Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov stated that the discussion focused on expectations regarding the further development of the strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

Saidov noted that the parties also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming events to be held at various levels and emphasized that special importance was attached to deepening cooperation in many areas, particularly trade, economy, investment, transport, logistics, and energy.

It was also noted that, in addition to bilateral relations, other issues on the multilateral agenda were discussed during the conversation.
