Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Guinea-Bissau's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities, Fatumata Jau.

During the call, the two sides discussed steps to strengthen bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Guinea-Bissau. They reviewed the establishment of political dialogue, the creation of a regular political consultation mechanism between the two foreign ministries, and the expansion of the legal framework governing relations between the two countries.

The ministers also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.

They agreed to maintain contacts in order to further develop friendly relations and expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
