Sanchez: Maltese voters said yes to social democracy
Madrid, May 31 (Hibya) - Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that with a high voter turnout in Malta's elections, the Maltese people said "yes" to social democracy.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez published a congratulatory message following the election results in Malta.
Congratulating Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela on his success, Sanchez said: "With the high turnout in yesterday's election, the Maltese people said yes to social democracy. Congratulations, Robert Abela, on your victory."
Referring to their common goals for the future, Sanchez stated: "We will continue working together within the EU to improve the lives of our citizens. More rights, more Europe, more progress."
