Sharif: We are determined to develop our economic and trade cooperation with Azerbaijan
Islamabad, October 10 (Hibya) - Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that during a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, they discussed bilateral relations, economic and trade cooperation, and regional developments.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that during a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, they discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries and increasing economic cooperation.
Sharif said they reaffirmed their determination to develop the friendship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, as well as cooperation in investment and trade.
During the call, Sharif thanked Aliyev for agreeing to provide support and expertise for the expansion of Pakistan’s Asaan Khidmat network, which is modeled on Azerbaijan’s ASAN Khidmet service model.
Sharif added that the two leaders also exchanged views on regional developments and reaffirmed their commitment to dialogue, peace and stability.
