Sixth meeting of the Joint Security Coordination Mechanism held
Doha, August 14 (Hibya) - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the sixth meeting of the Joint Security Coordination Mechanism (JSCM) was held within the framework of the peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Rwanda.

According to a statement from Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was held on August 12-13, 2026, at the US Mission in Geneva, Switzerland.
Representatives of the DRC and Rwanda attended the meeting, along with representatives from the United States, Qatar, Togo and the African Union Commission. Togo participated in the meeting as the African Union mediator.
