UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a statement regarding the festival program.
Criticizing Kanye West’s participation in the festival, Starmer said: "Kanye West should not have been invited to the main stage of the Wireless Festival".
Referring to the fight against antisemitism, Starmer stated: "This government stands firmly with the Jewish community and we will never stop fighting and defeating the poison of antisemitism".
Prime Minister Starmer concluded his statement by saying: "We will always take the necessary measures to protect public safety and defend our values".
