Starmer: We are rebuilding the education system from the ground up for children with special needs
London, December 12 (Hibya) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the education system for children with special educational needs will be strengthened, outlining the comprehensive transformation being carried out by the government.
Emphasizing that education is a gateway to opportunity and that this opportunity must be offered equally to every child, Starmer said: “We are fixing a broken education system. We are creating a more inclusive structure for children with special educational needs and disabilities.”
Starmer added that the government will invest £3 billion to create 50,000 new special education places nationwide, which will serve local communities.
Prime Minister Starmer stated that their aim is “to build an education system that works for everyone.”
