Sybiha: At least two killed in attack on Kyiv
Kyiv, September 8 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said a large-scale attack was carried out on Kyiv after the US President's peace envoys left the country, killing at least two people.
Sybiha said Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv after the US President's peace envoys departed from the city. He said residential areas were damaged in the attack and at least two people were killed.
Sybiha said Russia's attacks were not bringing it closer to winning the war and stressed that decisions by allies should not be delayed. He said every interceptor provided to Ukraine would save a life and that missiles currently in stockpiles and approaching the end of their service life should also be used to protect Ukrainian airspace.
Sybiha also called for Germany's example to be followed and for all “Russian Houses” in Europe to be closed. He said Russia's influence networks should not be allowed to continue operating while Russia refuses to end the war, and urged allies to increase pressure on Russia.
Sybiha said stronger pressure on Moscow would advance diplomacy and bring peace closer.
