Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a telephone conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand.

Commenting on the conversation, Sybiha said he had briefed his counterpart on the consequences of Russia's latest missile and drone attacks against Ukrainian civilians and critical infrastructure. He stated that, alongside ongoing peace efforts, they discussed the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine's air defence, particularly its ability to intercept ballistic missiles.

Emphasizing the need for targeted sanctions related to ballistic missiles to disrupt Russia's missile production and prevent its access to critical components, Sybiha said, "At the same time, faster delivery of interceptor missiles is vital to protecting Ukraine's airspace and energy infrastructure."

Sybiha reported that, following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's recent visit to Canada, preparations for signing the 100-Year Partnership Agreement and cooperation in the security sector were also discussed.

Referring to Canada's hosting of the Pathways to Peace Conference in Toronto, Sybiha noted that the conference focused on the return of Ukrainian children, detained civilians, and prisoners of war.

Thanking Canada for its support for Ukraine, Sybiha said, "I am grateful for Canada's steadfast partnership and leadership, and its support for efforts toward a comprehensive and lasting peace."
