Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding Russia's attacks on ships in the Black Sea and violations of international law.

Drawing attention to the timing of the attack and the threat posed by Russia, Sybiha said: "Russia attacked a Turkish-owned cargo ship in the Black Sea at midnight. And it did so immediately after a high-level Turkish visit to Russia. This is a clear indication that Russia's words cannot be trusted. Russia continues to be the greatest threat to the security and prosperity of the Black Sea."

Providing information on the consequences of the attack and rescue efforts, Sybiha said: "Turkish and Indian nationals were rescued. Unfortunately, an Egyptian crew member lost his life in this attack. Russia also attacked two other vessels flying the flags of Palau and Belize; the ships were damaged, but their crews were unharmed."

Calling on the international community, Sybiha concluded: "We are informing all states and organizations about this brazen attack against international law and freedom of navigation. It requires strong and principled responses from the international community and the International Maritime Organization."
