Sybiha: Sanctions against Russia should not be eased
Kyiv, March 7 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that at least seven civilians, including two children, were killed in Russia’s attack on Kharkiv.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha said that a residential building was targeted in Russia’s attack on Kharkiv and announced that at least seven civilians, including two children, were killed.
Sybiha stated that search and rescue operations for people trapped under the rubble are continuing and said: “Russia is a terrorist state. While Russian killers continue to kill Ukrainian children in their sleep, easing the restrictions against them cannot be considered.”
Sybiha emphasized that the international community must continue sanctions against Russia, stating: “Sanctions or bans in international sports and cultural events should not be eased either.”
Sybiha said that Russia poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to global security, stressing that international pressure on Russia must be increased, which is important for achieving lasting peace in Ukraine.
