Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani issued a congratulatory message on the unanimous re-election of Confagricoltura President Massimiliano Giansanti as President of COPA, which brings together Europe’s leading agricultural organizations.

Congratulating Giansanti, Tajani said, “I extend my warmest congratulations on your unanimous re-election as President of COPA.”

Noting that COPA represents more than 22 million farmers across the European continent, Tajani said Giansanti’s re-election highlights the role of Italian agriculture in the European context and Italy’s ability to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the sector.

Tajani said, “This is an important confirmation of our ability to contribute to strengthening the sector’s competitiveness, including in international markets.”
