Tajani: We are transforming embassies into outposts of Italian excellence
Rome, November 5 (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced that they had organized the Annual Conference of Science, Space and Agriculture Attachés and Experts in Reggio Calabria, stating that their goal is to transform embassies into international hubs representing research and Italian excellence.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated that they are supporting companies and researchers in accessing new international opportunities across various fields, from artificial intelligence and space to biotechnology and agriculture.
Tajani announced that they had launched the process of developing Italy's first National Science Diplomacy Strategy from Calabria, a region that has made innovation and research fundamental elements of regional development. He also reported that steps had been taken toward establishing a confederation of associations of Italian researchers operating in different countries around the world.
Tajani also stated that he had signed a cooperation protocol between Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the National Research Council (CNR).
