Trump: Democrats have been ruthless in targeting Tina Peters
Washington, March 23 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump sharply criticized the Democratic Party’s judicial and immigration policies, calling for the release of Tina Peters, who is imprisoned for demanding election integrity.
US President Donald Trump made a statement regarding Democrats' stance on the justice system and border security.
Criticizing Democrats’ approach to fighting crime, Trump said: "For years, Democrats have ignored all kinds of violent and brutal crimes. Violent offenders who should have been imprisoned were allowed to attack again. Democrats have also been far too willing to allow the worst criminals from the worst countries to enter in order to defraud American taxpayers."
Arguing that prosecutions are being used as a political tool, Trump stated: "Democrats think there is only one crime: not voting for them! Instead of protecting Americans and taxpayer money, Democrats chose to prosecute anyone who wants safe and secure elections."
Opening a special note about the detained Tina Peters, Trump said: "Democrats have been ruthless in targeting Tina Peters, a patriot who wants to ensure our elections are fair and honest. Tina is sitting in a Colorado prison for the 'crime' of demanding honest elections. Release Tina!"
