U.S. President Trump said he was pleased to announce that the clashes that erupted between Thailand and Cambodia will end immediately and that the parties will soon return to living together in peace in line with the core agreement they have agreed upon.

Congratulating the leaders, Trump noted that the process was swift and decisive, adding, “This is how all such situations should be handled.”

Stating that the United States is proud, as always, to have played a constructive role in this process, Trump said that the number of wars and conflicts resolved over the past eleven months has reached eight.

Trump also argued that the United Nations has not been sufficiently effective in these processes and should take a more active role in global crises, especially the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

He called on the United Nations to adopt a more effective and responsible approach to ensuring world peace.
