Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

In his statement, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said: “Today we celebrate the birthday of our freedom—our own freedom, the freedom we cherish and protect. It is a day when we take pride in living in a free Estonia, speaking our language, and making our own choices.”

However, Tsahkna noted that on the same date they also remember a different morning—four years ago, Ukraine woke up to war. Emphasizing that freedom means the ability to believe in the future and to live without fear, Tsahkna stated that today Ukraine is fighting precisely for this right. Tsahkna added:

“Estonia knows from its own history what it means to lose freedom and to regain it. Therefore, February 24 is not only a day of celebration. It is also a day of responsibility.”
