Tsahkna: I see no signs Russia is preparing for a large-scale invasion
New York, September 26 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said that Russia’s provocations, cyberattacks and acts of sabotage have become almost routine in recent years due to their high frequency, adding that he sees no signs that Russia is planning a large-scale military invasion.
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna assessed security threats originating from Russia in remarks to Fox News on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Tsahkna said Russia’s provocations, cyberattacks and acts of sabotage have become almost routine in recent years because of their high frequency.
Stating that the aim of these actions is to create fear and division, Tsahkna said, “At the same time, I do not see any signs that Russia is planning a large-scale military invasion.”
Tsahkna said the other side of the Russian border is quite empty and shared his assessment of the current situation in the region.
