Tsahkna: The priority is to ensure the permanent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz
Tallinn, April 8 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that he welcomed the ceasefire reached between the United States and Iran, emphasizing that the priority is regional stability and the permanent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna made assessments regarding the diplomatic process following the ceasefire agreement.
Describing the ceasefire decision as a positive development, Tsahkna noted that the ceasefire between the United States and Iran is a welcome step.
Emphasizing the importance of lasting stability, Tsahkna said: "The priority now is to transform this into sustainable diplomacy, regional stability and lasting peace, while also ensuring the permanent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz."
