Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

During the call, the two sides discussed Türkiye-Qatar relations and regional developments. They exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the two countries and on the latest developments in the region.

Prime Minister Al Thani stressed the importance of maintaining dialogue and diplomacy to reduce tensions and ensure regional stability. The call also covered preserving freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, supporting regional security, and diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation.
