UAE and Nepal discuss humanitarian aid following floods
Abu Dhabi, September 1 (Hibya) – Major General Awad Saeed bin Musleh Al Ahbabi, Commander of Joint Operations at the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with Nepal’s Ambassador to the UAE Tej Bahadur and his accompanying delegation.

Various officials from both sides also attended the meeting held at the UAE Ministry of Defense. The meeting discussed steps to strengthen joint coordination between the UAE and Nepal.
The humanitarian situation resulting from the recent floods in Nepal was also on the meeting’s agenda. The parties assessed the urgent needs of those affected by the floods and discussed ways to deliver the necessary humanitarian assistance and support to those in need.
It was stated that the issues discussed during the meeting were aimed at contributing to the development of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Nepal.
