UK Prime Minister Starmer: This is a time for unity
London, October 4 (Hibya) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, in a statement regarding the protests planned for the weekend, called on citizens to show respect for the pain experienced by the Jewish community in Britain.
Starmer said: “This is a period of mourning. It is not the time to increase tensions and deepen the pain, but the time to stand together.”
Emphasizing that the country is a society that unites people of all faiths under one flag, Starmer added: “Whoever we are, whatever religion we belong to, this country embraces us all as neighbors and friends. Hatred and violence will never prevail.”
