Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha continues Brussels meetings
Brussels, April 4 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas.
Minister Sybiha continues his engagements in Brussels as part of the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting.
He said he had a productive meeting with his Belgian counterpart Prevot: “We are grateful for Belgium's unwavering support, military aid, and readiness to join the Coalition of the Willing. We discussed ways to strengthen our bilateral relations and advance cooperation in the defense industry.”
Sybiha also thanked Kaja Kallas for the EU’s strong support and readiness to increase assistance to Ukraine.
He appreciated her personal efforts to provide much-needed artillery ammunition: “I informed the HR/VP about the status of peace efforts and reiterated Ukraine’s principled stance: Nothing about Europe without Europe. We will continue working closely on the path to peace. We discussed concrete steps to strengthen Ukraine, raise the cost of war for the aggressor, and accelerate Ukraine’s EU accession.”
Sybiha added: “We also coordinated the calendar of other key Ukraine-EU events. I appreciate Europe’s new strength and willingness to translate it into concrete decisions.”
