UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Türk: Diversity is our greatest strength
New York, June 10 (Hibya) – United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk called for the protection of diversity and the defense of everyone's rights in the face of growing social divisions globally.
Volker Türk stated, “Diversity is our greatest strength. Just as ecosystems thrive through the harmonious coexistence of different species, societies are strengthened when differences are embraced and supported.”
Highlighting the increasing polarization in the world, Türk said: “We must stand united for the dignity and rights of every individual in the face of growing divisions.”
