New York, September 28 (Hibya) – UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell met with Jordanian Minister of Education Azmi Mahafzah.

Russell said in a post on social media that the meeting took place in the presence of Jordan’s Minister of Social Development.
Russell said Jordan is turning school enrollment into opportunities for learning, future employment and protection, noting that UNICEF is among the supporters of this process, including efforts specifically aimed at children with disabilities.
