UNRWA: Essential medical supplies must reach northern Gaza
New York, October 21 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) provided information on the health situation in Gaza, where attacks are ongoing.
In a statement, UNRWA emphasized the need to ensure access to essential medical supplies in northern Gaza.
The statement on the health situation in northern Gaza said:
"No UNRWA medical point is functioning there. UNRWA medical teams are ready - but urgently need medical supplies to provide care. Following strikes at hospital facilities, intensive care patients died due to power outages. Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals continue to operate at minimum capacity due to shortages of medical supplies and personnel."
