U.S. Ambassador Barrack congratulates the Iraqi government
Washington, June 2 (Hibya) - U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack emphasized the importance of the new governance process, sovereignty, and stability in a statement addressed to Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih Alzaidy.
U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack issued a congratulatory message addressed to Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih Alzaidy.
In his statement, Barrack said that a new step had been taken toward self-governance in Iraq, noting that it would contribute to the restoration of sovereignty, the strengthening of stability, and the process of national renewal.
The statement also noted that the decision by certain groups to hand over their weapons to the Iraqi state had contributed to strengthening public order.
Barrack stated that Prime Minister Alzaidy’s confidence in the process was well founded and that this was only the beginning.
