US Vice President James David Vance provided assessments regarding the regional ceasefire process during a press conference.

Vance stated, “We want a regional ceasefire. We have established a good foundation. Technical talks will continue for weeks,” indicating that the process is ongoing.

Speaking about frozen Iranian assets, Vance said these resources could be considered within the framework of economic arrangements. He added, “Following the release of frozen Iranian assets, we are working on a mechanism that would allow these resources to be used for the purchase of products manufactured in the United States. This structure will contribute to economic relations and create a new balance for different countries.”

Vance noted that the process has been carried out with contributions from several countries, saying, “Qatar and some of our partners have made important contributions in this regard. The lifting of restrictions on Iranian assets could have positive effects both for American farmers and for the Iranian economy.”

Concluding his remarks, Vance thanked all parties involved, saying, “I thank everyone for their contributions. Technical talks will continue in the coming weeks. We will closely monitor the process.”
