President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated that social justice is one of the core priorities for Europe's competitiveness.
In a post on her social media account, Von der Leyen said, "Social justice is essential for a competitive Europe. We need quality jobs, decent livelihoods, and thriving businesses."
Listing Europe's key priorities, Von der Leyen underscored the importance of access to affordable energy, a strong Single Market protecting workers' rights, and a long-term European Union (EU) budget that preserves Europe's social fabric.
Von der Leyen noted that dialogue with social partners remains crucial for achieving these goals.
