Brussels, May 26 (Hibya) - President of the European Union (EU) Commission Ursula von der Leyen published a condolence message regarding the accident that occurred in the Belgian town of Buggenhout after a train collided with a school bus.
President of the European Union (EU) Commission Ursula von der Leyen shared a condolence message regarding the accident in Belgium.
Expressing her deep sorrow over the accident, Von der Leyen said, “I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic accident between a train and a school bus that occurred today in Buggenhout.”
Stating that she shares the pain of the victims’ relatives, Von der Leyen said, “I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.”
Emphasizing that the European Union stands with the Belgian people, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated, “Today Europe mourns together with Belgium.”
