White House: New task force to be established for women's health
Washington, October 22 (Hibya) - A new structure aimed at strengthening women's access to healthcare throughout all stages of their lives is being established under a new presidential executive order spearheaded by Melania Trump, wife of US President Donald Trump.
Under the initiative announced by the White House, a Women's Health Task Force will be established within the White House. In addition, a new Women's Health Unit will be created within the US National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The initiative is intended to strengthen efforts for girls and women in the areas of research, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care.
