WHO calls for access to meet health needs in Sudan
Geneva, November 13 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus welcomed the decision to extend the opening of the Adre border crossing between Chad and Sudan.

With famine approaching, Ghebreyesus emphasized that this border crossing is a lifeline for many Sudanese in urgent need of food, water, and medicine. "WHO calls for safe and continuous cross-border access to meet the health needs of all people throughout Sudan," he stated.
